Welcome to our Santa Program

Thanks to the generous nature of our network of family, friends, co-workers, and their friends as we celebrate almost 25 years of the Santa Program.

Our goal is to help families that have come on hard times due to our economy and not their lack of trying to make a living wage. In our efforts to help as many as possible we teamed up with Cornerstone Community Outreach because they offer shelter and services to homeless and low-income families and individuals through a variety of programs on the North-side of Chicago. An area we feel that is desperately underserved.

NEW THIS YEAR: We are taking on an additional 30 children in an After School Program for low income and homeless children in honor of our Super Santa Helper - Larry Wier - who is playing Santa in heaven this year. This is something he wanted to take on a couple of years ago before Covid and and the pandemic hit us all so hard. His wish was to have a Gingerbread decorating ice cream party (using our favorite small business ice cream shop (Tate's in LaGrange) along with special stockings for each child. We're getting a late start and working out the details. But have decided to reach out to our SantaProgram  friends to help us make this happen. So if you'd like to join in helping us with this special event, please make a donation directly to this event (info on Donation Page).

We hope we can count on your support to help spread the word so we can continue to help as many children and families as possible to have another very merry holiday.

Whether it's your first year getting involved, or you're part of our growing family of supporters. Every supporter of our program helps make one more child or family happy over the holidays.

COVID has forced us to adjust our Santa Program to accomodate all the new regulations. This year we're asking for gift cards or cash donations only. Sorry, they aren't allowed to accept gifts and have a wrapping party. Instead the social workers will take children shopping to pick out their own gifts or buy the gifts for the smaller children.
